Our Story
At Alpenshade, we know parenting can be a wild ride—especially when you’re out hiking with your little sidekick. That’s why we’re all about creating UPF apparel for babies that makes sun protection not just easy but actually fun! And, we're just getting started. Options for children of all ages and adults are coming down the line.
Our Why
Babies and toddlers are the most vulnerable to sunburns, yet there are no adequate solutions to fully protect their delicate skin. Childhood sun exposure—especially burns—has a significant impact on a person’s lifetime risk of developing melanoma, leaving parents struggling to find reliable, effective options.
Our Solution
Our dermatologist-designed products provide high-quality, quick, and easy sun protection for newborns, infants, and toddlers. Families can confidently enjoy outdoor adventures knowing their littles are shielded all day from harmful UV rays in our playful, colorful onesies. Eventually, we hope to make fun, protective clothing for all ages. Stay tuned!
